lunched w p-sch mates!
every year, I tell myself to reflect abt the previous year, and dont make the same mistakes.. but I always never had the time to do it.. hmm, or is it just my excuse? haha!! I tend to think I have short term memory =X
nevertheless, I won't say 2008 was a bad year or a good year.. I'll tink of it as a smooth sailing one? one lesson learnt was that decisions can really affect the future... but somehow, we gotta forgive ourselves for choosing the path we took (if we regret).. & I truly believe that
everything happens for a reason... I used to think it is hard to make friends as we grow older.. I still think it does, but perhaps its cause we're afraid take the first step to make friends.. (at least for me)
I've learnt a lil of myself over the years.. not a lot.. still finding myself.. but I did understand better.. & also understand my parents logic better.. (thou some I still cannot accept..) And friends dont stay friends not because everyone is busy, that's part of the reason but everyone should play their part as friends once in a while.. find time to contact each other, we'll learn new things from them... =)
well, 2009 has come.. but as I've told some people, it does not feel like the new year anymore. time just seem to go on n on.. perhaps when I am old and bored at home, I'll think where did all my time fly too? haha!! but I cant see myself after uni life.. will I be ready then? hmm.. mayb then I'll truly see the world and not the frog in the well anymore...
& mayb then I'll be free..anyhow, met up with
fran, ting xu, florence and laura today!! (pictures is with ting xu) it's sooooooooooo nice to see them again after all these years!!!! talked about the past, got to know more people (school mates and teachers) whereabouts~ and surfed ard facebook to look for people!! hahahaha~ its dam funny!!! awww~ a sense of nostalgia hits me all over again.. and wish I can time travel.. LOL!!
after lunch fran had to head to school and the 4 of us went borders!! hahaha!! they're all book- lovers!!! aft all this years then I know (except for ting xu.. been book lover since forever!!) and gonna find some books they mentioned~ LOL!! hope ting xu will head back to USA safely!! and to meet up with them again sometime!! heex~
right!! gotta head back to work now!! man~ 8th is my d-day!!(ps: wanna do sth to my hair!! what should I do?!)
