dear daddy,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY~!!
There is so many things I wish I can tell you face to face.
Like how much I appreciate you fetching us around and waiting for me just because you are worried. I may complain to friends at times, but deep inside I am thankful to have a sweet father.
There is this image that keeps playing in my head. It is of me alighting from my primary school bus, seeing you standing at the void deck waiting for me, I was really happy inside! I remember I ran towards you. =D
I remember:
How u Chase after the bus just because of my blur-ness..
How I feared you because you were always strict with me. (Ps: I still fear you)
How you attend to my wounds (did you secretly enjoy putting qing cao you on my wounds? =p)
How we always scream for you when there is cockroaches or lizards.
Your temper.. when you are really angry..
How you help me with my maths n science.
Your cold jokes...
Your willingness to buy things for us but scrimp on yourself.
Your love for food..
How you helped me with my art project. Wish I could keep tt egg proj which you took so long to do! You even when to the playground to take sand.
How you brought us to playground n parks.
How easy it seems for you to talk to strangers ( I'm sure you have made a lot of secruity guard 'friends' while waiting for me).
How you can repair our computer or lightings or sink... We saved a lot on repairing items
How much you love mummy..
How I upset you when I look embarrassed by the first car you bought.. now I know having a car no matter what brand is a luxury, nothing to be ashame of.
How you teach us that money is not everything.
How you make the effort to take leave during school holidays to accompany us.
How I jokingly ask you take leave during my uni exam to drive me to EXPO and you really did it.
How our family always celebrate our family birthdays at airport swensens. Tho now we don't go there on birthdays but its still a place where we always go for dinner. (I highly doubt any family is as loyal as us when it comes to eating at swensens =x) no idea why we always end up there.. lol..
Its time to cut your cake.. hope you enjoyed yourself today. I believe you did as your aim is to make mummy happy. :) we love you!
