Had a memorable night on 17 may 2013. It has been 11 years since I stayed overnight with friends (not counting the batam trip). Still remember the happiness I felt when I got the "ok" from mummy!
Initially, I was suppose to meet Le, serene, bernadine n jessie for dinner to celeb le's farewell. We met up at 1-altitude. The food was good.. drinks was alright i guess.. the view was good and of cos taking loads of pictures was a must!!! During dinner, I learnt that they booked a room at St Regis. They invited me to have a look see of the room! Nice of them! :) In view that the night was still young, I agreed!
Off we went! Upon reaching the hotel, i realised that coincidentally, their room number was 1705. Being the only one of the group who has never been such an atas hotel room in Singapore, I was impressed!! The toilet was the most pretty toilet I ever went into.. with 2 sinks, moveable bathtub, and even the shower head was cool. The toilet was definitely designed for girls! It was full of mirrors and there was even a weifhin machine!!! Waiting for pictures from the girls before I can upload any..
Anyhow, we chatted and drank some more. eventually, it got past 1am and they were inviting me to stay over since it was late and I drank quite a few. =x temptation got the better of me and I asked my parents. Mummy said ok after confirming that all are girls and I was a happy girl! The girls were very nice too, even got more bathrobes just for me. Thankful for that because it was v v v cold and the bathrobe was the most comfy one I ever wore!
But sadly, there was no activities planned and the girls were getting sleepy so after a while, everyone slpt except bernardine and I who end up watching a show on tv on the floor. But even she fell aslp first. After the movie (ard 4am), I tried to get some sleep but funny thing is even after so many alcohol, I could not sleep. Lol! Eventually, I did but got awoken by le who asked us to go to the bed to sleep.. so sweet! And 4 of us bunk in on the bed w jessie sleepin on the sofa.
As we got on the bed, we all had a funny conversation and just before 5am, we finally dozed off. Somehow I woke up at 7am. And nua till ard 8am on the bed while waiting for everyone to wake because noone decided the time to wake up, I didnt know if I should wake them or not.
Anyhow, after everyone woke up, serene, jessie and I went to the pool to chill while bernadine and le went to the gym. And soon after, it was time for brunch! We went to this tim sum place at the forum shopping mall. And soon it was time to check out and head home :(
Really am thankful to have met such friends. sadly, cant get to spend longer time with le as she's heading back to vietnam just when we started to get closer. But nevertheless, I believe the friendship would not end here and really hope that her home country with her love one is really where she trully finds her happiness :)
Definitely a night, I dont want to forget! Hope to meet up with the rest of them soon!
